April 29 Drill

Thank you to Frank Kramer III From Lambertville Fire and LNHARS Heavy Rescue Unit for conducting a ropes and knots refresher drill for us.
Drill April 8

After a long hard winter, nice weather allowed us to get out of the firehouse and exercise the apparatus. Deputy 23 took the troops to the canal standpipe in town to practice drafting operations. Engine 23 repeatedly pulled the 26 foot lift and supplied Tender /Pumper 23' deck gun, as well as its own.
Drill May 13

Another pump operations drill was held at the firehouse that included the use of the different foam systems on each apparatus.
Drill May 20

16 fire (Kingwood Township) participated in our yearly skills obstacle course challenge. Groups of 4 were timed as they proceeded through a course comprised of basic firefighting skills and procedure that included - Donning turnout gear, use of SCBA, remembering to wear your seatbelt, accountability, hand line connections, advancing charged hand lines, ladder raises, ropes and knot skills, and victim removal. After each group went through they were required to go through rehab ( Thanks to The SFC-FAS for providing that). Our friends Captain Strauss and Deputy Chief Tillet from 17 Fire Station 4 (Lambertville) were on hand with Cascade unit 1784 to refill our air bottles. A fun time was had by all.
July 22 drill

Driver training and apparatus maintenance.
July 8 Drill

Nurse Tender / Water supply drill. Tender / Pumper 23 was used to supply Quint 26's ladder pipe utilizing different discharges and intakes to achieve desired flow rates.
